Just two hours drive from Ulaanbaatar is the spectacular Terelj valley, truly one of the most picturesque spots in all of Mongolia. Along the way you will see the mountain mass with high steeple-like peaks, and many other stunning rock formations. You can take leisurely strolls on green meadows carpeted with edelweiss and a dazzling variety of other wild flowers in this museum of natural wealth. Terelj is also teeming with wildlife amidst the dense forests that surround the valley, and all of which combines to make this national park a popular getaway.
